Baron Stuart of Wortley

Baron Stuart of Wortley, of the City of Sheffield, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1917 for the Conservative politician Charles Stuart-Wortley. He was the son of the Hon. James Stuart-Wortley, third son of James Stuart-Wortley, 1st Baron Wharncliffe (see the Earl of Wharncliffe), second son of the Hon. James Stuart-Wortley-Mackenzie, second son of Prime Minister John Stuart, 3rd Earl of Bute, by his wife Mary, daughter of Edward Wortley Montagu and his wife Lady Mary Wortley Montagu. The title became extinct on Lord Stuart of Wortley's death in 1926.
