Baron Islington

Baron Islington, of Islington in the County of London, was a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1910 for the politician Sir John Poynder-Dickson, 6th Baronet. He later served as Governor-General of New Zealand. The Baronetcy, of Hardingham Hall in the County of Norfolk, was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 21 September 1802 for Archibald Dickson. The second Baronet was a Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy. The titles became extinct on Lord Islington's death in 1936.
