Barney's Hide and Seek is a game that was released in 1993 by Sega for the Mega Drive/Genesis video game system. In this game, the objective is to move Barney around four themed levels and locate five children and five presents, who are hiding throughout the level. It was the object of heavy mockery amongst gaming circles, due to its simplicity for a kids game. Should the player find all the children and presents in different levels, they would be rewarded with a "special surprise", where purple balloons popped and drizzled confetti and streamers.
