The Bare-eyed Rail (Gymnocrex plumbeiventris) is a species of bird in the Rallidae family. It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
