Bardhaman Bookfair

Burdwan Bookfair was started in 1979 with ten stalls. This book fair is oldest among others in West Bengal after Kolkata - it started three years after Kolkata bookfair. The bookfair is organised by Abhijan Group. Now in its 28th year in 2005 more than 100 stalls with variety of books are present.
