Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto is a town of about 50,000 inhabitants in the north coast of Sicily, Italy, 40 km from Messina towards Palermo. It belongs to the Province of Messina. Barcellona was founded in the 1600s during the Spanish dominance of the island, and was merged with Pozzo di Gotto in 1835. At the 2001 census the municipality had a population of 41,258 inhabitants and a land area of 58.89 km² (22.74 sq mi).

It is mostly famous as the place of birth of Emilio Fede, popular TV anchorman.

In the nearby zones there is Castroreale which is a small village from the 1200s and has a castle of Emperor Frederick II.
