Barbate is a city located in the province of Cádiz, Spain. According to the 2006 census, the city has a population of 22,496 inhabitants.
Barbate is located very near of the coast of Cape Trafalgar and within of Parque Natural de la Breña y Marismas del Barbate. The monument Tómbolo de Trafalgar is inside of the Barbate municipality.
