Barbara Ling is an American author who has written 20+ books and ebooks on various business-related topics on the Internet, including internet recruiting, job hunting, eBay, teaching children to read, showing people how to lose weight and more.

An veteran Internet pioneer since 1988, in 1998 she was the first professional to teach employers how to utilize the Internet to find resumes online with her book, The Internet Recruiting Edge. She was a Microsoft Small Business Success story in 1999 as well and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Inc. Magazine and many other respected publications.

During 2007, she lost 40+ pounds while choosing to get healthy despite difficult physical challenges. She currently focuses now on raising her family and teaching individuals how to use the Internet to achieve their weight loss and get-healthy goals.
