Baraguá is a municipality in the Ciego de Ávila Province of Cuba. The municipal seat is located in the town of Gaspar.
The municipality occupies the south-eastern part of the province, and the area is dominated by mangrove.

In 2004, the municipality of Baraguá had a population of 32,408.[2] With a total area of 728 km² (281.1 sq mi),[1] it has a population density of 44.5/km² (115.3/sq mi).
