Bao Bao Wan is the granddaughter of Wan Li, Chairman of the National People's Congress from 1988-1993. Bao Bao’s father is Minister of the Chinese Chamber Of Promotion of International Trade.[citation needed]
Bao Bao studied photography at the Sarah Lawrence College in New York and then French Literature in Paris.
Having graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in 2006, Bao Bao now designs her own range of jewellery from Hong Kong[citation needed].
