[edit] Page move
I moved the page from "Bankstown" to "Bankstown, New South Wales" to follow with the standard Wikipedia place-name formatting. Techelf 11:33, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Why does the writer only mention the lebanese community in reference to bankstown. It is also home to many others, but more specifically if you look at the latest census 2001, there is just as many vietnamese in bankstown, if not, their presence is very visible, eg. the bankstown plaza.
- Feel free to add more, then? Dysprosia 03:07, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)
One interesting point... should we make a clearer distinction between Bankstown, the suburb, and Bankstown, the local government area? For instance, isn't the airport actually in milperra? Enochlau 10:11, 12 May 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Separate page for the Local Government Area
As per discussion at Talk:List of Sydney suburbs, I have created a separate page for the City of Bankstown, the Local Government Area. -- Ianblair23 05:29, 30 August 2005 (UTC)
- Excellent. Enochlau 13:35, 30 August 2005 (UTC)
There is still quite substantial overlap between this article and City of Bankstown. I suggest that we cull this article to refer specifically to the suburb itself. Enochlau 15:18, 16 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Bankstown Bunker
I have recently added a small paragraph to this article called the Bankstown Bunker. The information that I have provided has references to varifie it's truth. Today someone has come along added a whole heap of un-sourced claims. Some of the information is informative, but I think it now drags on a bit. I would be inclined to either reduce its own content or create a separate artcle for the Bankstown Bunker. Cheers. Adam.J.W.C. 04:44, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
