I've written "The two Counsellors who serve as members of the Executive Commission are designated by the Governing Council, after nomination by the Governor, from among their own members." The Spanish-language article uses the expression "de entre sus miembros no natos." I do not know what this means. The Spanish-language article is a bit florid in it language throughout. - Some members of the Governing Council may be so just because of their position; for example the Vice President of the National Securities Market Commission is always automatically a member of the Council. Those are the "nato" members. --RiseRover 17:16, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ah. So nato here would be ex officio. I don't think we have a term for the opposite of that in English. - Jmabel | Talk 21:57, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
