[edit] Merger or rename into Bank of America

The article had stated, without source, that Giannini merged the Bank of Italy with Bank of American in 1929. The NRHP document states that the Bank of Italy was renamed into Bank of America, so I edited the article to reflect that instead. Perhaps the name Bank of America did come from an acquisition or merger, however. A source would be helpful. doncram (talk) 19:48, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
