[edit] cycle

In addition, the game also repeats its cycle around level 60 or so, with robbers and customers arriving in a predicatable order, but I didn't know how to explain this and frankly I'm a little sheepish about how much of my youth I wasted playing this rather lame game. Was this a lightgun game in the arcades? I'm amazed that no console port of it uses a lightgun, as it is incredibly frustrating to play on a 2-button controller. boffy_b 10:28, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Nope. Three buttons to shoot left, center and right, noted by the small white squares. Lightgun games like Hogan's Alley and Duck Hunt came out later. BryanEkers 12:00, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] West Bank

I have played West Bank on ZX Spectrum (and its PC remake). I can confirm that it is quite a different game: some features from Bank Panic (as listed in the article, and in a Game FAQ manual as well) are missing in West Bank; most importantly, you can't shoot a robber until after he draws a gun on you, or else you'll lose a life. It's more a clone than a straight port. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 07:00, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
