Could I suggest renaming this article 'Huay Xai' as this is the name by which most people know the place?

I agree with the renaming. Huay Xai is the name under which the city is known to English speakers. Lonely Planet uses Huay Xai as well.--Xixaxu 13:15, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
