This is a song composed and performed by George Harrison for the Concert for Bangladesh in 1971. The song starts with the lyrics "My friend came to me, with sadness in his eyes. He told me that he wanted help, before his country dies.". This refers to the conversation Ravi Shankar and George Harrison had in which Ravi asked George to help his country in any way he could. The song has also been covered by the contestants of the seventh series of French reality show Star Academy.
