A banana boat is a traditional campfire treat consisting of a banana filled with marshmallow and chocolate wrapped in aluminum foil and cooked in an open fire.[1] Sometimes the banana boat is topped with caramel sauce prior to cooking.

Steps for creation

1. First you get a banana-a BIG banana.

2. Using a knife(or blade) cut two slits about an inch and half apart lengthwise down the banana.

3.Peel back the area between the slits.

4. Using a spoon or fork dig out the white stuff to create a trough.

5. Stuff the trough with minimarshmallows and chocolate chips.

6. Replace the peel of step 3.

7. Wrap in aluminum foil.

8. Place on live coals for five to seven minutes.

9. Carefully remove and enjoy!
