בָּמָה "Bamah" from "ba" (come) and "mah" (whereunto)
Denotes a place where Jewish people could come and worship idols. It also became used as a general term refering to any place used for idolatrous worship.[1][2] Adonai was worshiped on the high places by Isaac.[3]
