Baliadangi is located at 26.1000° N 88.2750° E . It has 28477 units of house hold and total area 284.12 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Baliadangi has a population of 147163. Males constitute are 51.32% of the population, and females 48.68%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 72500. Baliadangi has an average literacy rate of 23.8% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
