Baki Mercimek (born 18 September 1982) is a Turkish footballer currently a free agent. He has previously had spells with Sunderland AFC in England, as well as Haarlem in Netherlands and Beşiktaş. He was born in Amsterdam. He is eligible to play for Netherlands, as well as Turkey. He stated that:"I have Turkish blood and I'd love to play for my country one day."[1]
