Bakerganj (Bengali: বাকেরগঞ্জ) is an Upazila of Barisal District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh.

Bakerganj is located at 22.5500° N 90.3389° E . It has 63177 units of house hold and total area 417.2 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Bakerganj has a population of 336706. Males constitute are 49.64% of the population, and females 50.36%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 165226. Bakerganj has an average literacy rate of 47.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
