Baiersdorf is a town in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district, in Bavaria, Germany.
In the district Hagenau is a violin maker, named after Karl Höffner, is based in a company of the town Bubenreuth.

Baiersdorf is situated on terrace near the Regnitz river, approx. 8 kilometers north of Erlangen and 8 kilometers south of Forchheim.
