Talk:Bahram Moshiri
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mr. Bahram Moshiri is known in some exile Iranian communities as an Islam-basher. In televised programs aired on Pars TV, based in Southern California, he continiously insults Islam and its messengers. His remarks are as offensive to Muslims as any similar remarks aimed at Christians or Jews would be to them. He refers to Islam as "Pehen", meaning "feces" in English. I think it is very important to include this information about him on Wikipedia, since he devotes most of his time nowadays towards his crusade against Islam. I added some comments about him on his wikipedia page, but they were immediately removed twice! I'm gathering information on him, and will use this information to forward to Wikipedia to support my recommendation to include information about his anti-Islamic activities. If anyone would like to help it would be appreciated. He is not considered a "national hero" by most Iranians as someone here who appearantly is one of his followers suggested. He may be the "hero" of a small minority who always think they're representing 90% of Iranian, while it's the other way around. Mr. Moshiri is a self-proclaimed prophet, and such people are dangerous, even if they're not supported by a substantially large number of people. They're dangerous because they can harm the minds and lives of a few thousand people. I therefore think that a study should be made in to who he really is and what he really is up to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tajeiran (talk • contribs) 21:53, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Bahram Moshiri is a wonderful, nationalistic Iranian who has a lot of supporterst. Most of his supporters are Iranian intellecuals. I personally worship him as a hero. I wish we had more like him to open our minds. Iranians have been brain washed by Arbic religion called Islam. We need Bahram Moshiri & like him to guide us to our past. May God bless him with a long life. m.hojjat, Ph.D.

[edit] Deletion?
No offence to the author, but I am thinking of nominating this for deletion. This page is an orphan and Bahram Moshiri currently does not seem notable at all. Only around 350 google hits, most of which have no relation to this specific Bahram Moshiri. I cant find any reviews for his work and his books are not even available on Amazon. Even so, 1 book is not really appropriate for a whole namespace. I won't nominate yet, but it just seems that this guy isn't notable enough for an encyclopaedia. - Hardrada 20:49, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Actually i am not done with this article yet, so its too soon to judge after just searching in google about him don't you think. He is very famous among iranians, he has a television program which is sent directly to Iran, he alone is responsible for "opening the eyes" of many people in Iran, and is considered a national hero by many. The Iranian government has had many "bad" things to say about him in national television. Isn't he notable enough for an article? --Spahbod 20:59, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
I'm not really an experienced wikipedian, so I didn't nominate right away. If this is going to stay, I reckon it needs some categories at least. Ill try and put some in. Birthdate ? Place of Birth ? would be useful if this is basically a biography. - Hardrada 21:24, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
As mentioned before i was not done filling it yet, i am glad you want to help put in more stuff. --Spahbod 21:42, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
I am not too sure that thats an article in arabic section. --Spahbod 21:48, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Etemad
To the editor Etemad: No hes is not what "you call" a persian, he is Luri, they alongside with the bakhtiaris are more persian that most other "so called" persians today. They have been much less mixed with arabs and turks and others. --Spahbod 08:40, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- He looks like Turk to me, so maybe your facts are wrong. Etemad 18:50, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Actually turks are short and yellow skinned, small eyes and straight noses. And no my facts are not wrong. --Spahbod 19:59, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
-
- You don't know what you're talking about. Turks are dark-skinned and have flat noses! Have you ever been to Azerbaijan or Turkey??? Lors, Bakhtiari, Qashqai, Kurds, Persians all have light skin and Caucasoid features, and those who are dark are nowhere near as dark as this Turk! Whatever you claim, keep these claims far away from articles. Etemad 00:29, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
-
- Actually i am not claiming anything, i know for a fact that Mr Moshiri is Lori. On the other hand you are claiming that he is a turk and that turks are dark and such...
I am gonna repeat it in your own words, whatever your claiming keep them away from articles. --Spahbod 10:41, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
