Bahraini frigate Sabha (90), which is a frigate (war ship) that was given to Bahrain by the US as a gift,was called the USS Jack Williams (FFG-24) before the United States transferred it to Bahrain in 1996. It was ordered by the US Navy February 28, 1977, laid down in water February 25, 1980, officially launched by the US Navy August 30, 1980, then transferred to Bahrain September 13, 1996.
Sabha 90 is considered the lead frigate in the Bahraini Navy.
