From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bahrain Tribune is a newspaper in Bahrain, started in 1997.
The paper has three sections for readers:
- Main- Includes local and International news
- Business and Sports- Business news with analysis of the market.
- City Tribune- Covers events and feature section
The paper's team extensively covered the Bahrain parliament elections which was never covered by an English-language daily paper. Every constituency in the kingdom was covered highlighting their problems. The exercise resulted in an increase in the circulation.
Its current Managing Editor is Indian Bikram Vohra, who also writes a daily personal opinion column in the Commentary section. The daily excels in its inclusion of Bahrain's immigrant communities. The features section also has a one of a kind weekly Motoring Column (Moto-View) which no other daily newspaper in the GCC has. The current editorial team of the City Tribune comprises Blessing Johnson, Anita Nair and Yauvapa Siriwattasit.
