I've created a new name as I don't want to bring up old arguments with several unsavoury editors who are still contributing today. Time to start afresh!

This is oddly reminiscent of what spammers do. You're not a spammer, are you?

Excuse me? Spammers don't use usernames. Spammer spam with advertisements. Spammers create a junk user name and don't write anything on their user pages or user talk pages and then leave unsigned and insulting messages on legitamate user's talk pages. You realize you could actually make other contributions to Wikipedia instead of just creating an account just for the sake of leaving pointless anonymous messages, right? -- 199 09:11, 24 Mar 2005 (UTC)
