The Badwater Ultramarathon route begins by heading north from Badwater and covers 135 miles, but the true bearing and distance of Whitney is approximately 85 miles to the west of Badwater. Badwater Ultramarathon discussed the difference, so I didn't clarify the two mileages in Badwater... Sanguinity 04:25, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
