[edit] Viz

I thought he took his name from a Viz character? pomegranate 02:53, Feb 18, 2005 (UTC)

I do believe he did. Badly Drawn Man, it was. I've seen it in outside sources, can't remember where, but [List of Viz comic Strips] has it. 209.6.170.137 03:13, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Actually the inspiration for his name came from the cartoon series 'Sam and the magic ball' because the main character Sam was drawn very badly!

[edit] Songs with links

While Badly Drawn Boy's good and all that, do all his songs deserve the links they have, all currently inactive but I presume with the idea that someone's going to actually creates pages for each single - I don't think any have been a big enough hit to be culturally important - unlike his albums, which have all been culturally important. But, maybe some BDB fan would object to this, so I've not changed it. Plinthnick 00:35, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

They (the singles wikilinks) are now removed, I notice. Derek R Bullamore 19:44, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Taja Sevelle incident

Shouldn't someone mention the Taja Sevelle incident?

What Taja Sevelle incident ?!? Derek R Bullamore 19:44, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Boss

The way that sentence in the trivia is written - "self-confessed" Springsteen fan - makes it sound as if that's something he should be ashamed of! Willnz0 22:24, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Birth

He was born in 1969, yet there's a link at the bottom for 1970's births. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.129.212.98 (talk • contribs)

[edit] Bolton or Dunstable

Someone has today changed BDB's city of origin from Dunstable to Bolton. Not being an expert, I don't know which is correct - but have made the b in Bolton a capital. Please note that it wasn't my original change, and if it's wrong then feel free to revert. Willnz0 19:33, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sell-out

What a sell-out! Posing for Rolling Stone (cleaning up his grimy appearance), allowing his songs to be put into Hummer commercials? Badly Drawn Boy sucks and is getting worse. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mach Seventy (talkcontribs)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:BadlyDrawnBoylogo.png

Image:BadlyDrawnBoylogo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
