Badarganj is located at 24.6667° N 89.0417° E . It has 44029 units of house hold and total area 301.29 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Badarganj has a population of 213431. Males constitute are 51.28% of the population, and females 48.72%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 109320. Badarganj has an average literacy rate of 23.9% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
