Bad Fallingbostel is a municipality in Soltau-Fallingbostel, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Originally named Fallingbostel, it was changed to Bad Fallingbostel after a discovery of a spring, as 'Bad' actually means 'on water'. It has close ties to Walsrode, located a few km to the west. There is a British army base in Bad Fallingbostel.
