Since there are active editors for this article, and I am not a content area expert, I won't change the article, but I would like to make a point that to mere mortals, this explanation makes no sense without having to leave the article to look up definitions for all the other jargon.
In this case, my favorite place to get an overview of a specific topic failed me. This article ws much more meaningful to me, a moderately tech-savvy general interest reader. [1]
While I am not a content area expert, I am an expert in clearly written communication. I would gently suggest to the regular editors of this article that it could be made more readable and still remain extremely accurate.
