Bacterial flora

The bacterial flora is the whole system of bacteria in body cavities that have contact with the outside world. Every place shows another biochemical environment:

• dermal flora (skin flora)
• respiratory flora (tracheal flora)
• vaginal flora: lactic acid
• gut flora
• gut flora: obesity
• mouth flora: causes dental plaque formation
