My name is Doug Babcock. I graduated from Grinnell College in May 2006 with a B.A. in Mathematics. I am currently a second-year graduate student in Mathematics at Purdue University. I have not yet established a definite research interest, but it is likely I will do research in one or more of logic, real analysis, or complex analysis. My current career goal is to become a professor at an institution which values teaching. Some of my non-academic interests are computers, video games, and card games (especially bridge and Spades). I think that Wikipedia is a good idea, but that in many ways, it really sucks. I am registered at the moment primarily to edit articles for spelling, grammar, and clarity.
