[edit] Rime and community consultation or public participation
| This user follows Dzogchen teachings. |
"Rimé is not a spiritual lineage, but rather a philosophical movement which seeks to establish, preserve, and cultivate dialogue between varying traditions, appreciating their differences and emphasising the need for variety. It was initially created to counteract the growing suspicion and tension building between the different traditions, which at the time had, in many places, gone so far as to forbid studying one another's scriptures. Rimé became thereafter an integral part of the Tibetan tradition, and continues to be an important school of philosophy in Tibetan Buddhism." Sourced: 5 December 2006 from Rime.
I embrace this Rimé mindfulness with all traditions, not just Buddhist and Bon, and in the spirit of animism and pantheism: all sentient beings. I fervently embrace that there is nothing which is non-sentient at some time.

[edit] Spiel Spell
Adapted adeptly from animism: "everything is alive", "everything is conscious" and "everything has a soul"...the world and universe is a community of living persons, only some of whom are human (deep ecology). It also refers to the culture or philosophy of relating respectfully with the persons (human, planets, stars, clouds, space, constituents, elements, rock, plant, animal, bird, ancestors, etc.) who are also members of the wider community of life and being. Namaste in agape & walk+ing my talk in beauty (see prayer & Navajo)

[edit] B9 Spiel Spell
Nominally Bonpo Dzogchenpa, I am 2 kool 4 Skools!
- That said, I honour schools, learning and traditions. There comes a time though when universality and centrality of teaching is to be embraced and embodied...as I have crowning the Gyulu dressing mirror in my room: "Truth did not come into the world naked, but it came in types and images. One will not receive the truth in any other way...
The bridegroom mustenter though the image into truth." The apocryphal Godspell/Gospel of Saint Philip.- The Truth may be known as Dharmadhatu or Dharmakaya. The Truth or the 'Wellspring' or the Absolute, may also be known as the Great Dreaming (NB: the grammatical infinitive case ending is preferable to the term Dreamtime used in popular currency). The Mystery is cognate with Wyrd.

[edit] A worked quotation
There is no God, as I was taught in youth,
Though each, according tohis[their] stature, builds
Some covered shrine for whathe[they] thinks the truth...
There is no God, but we, who breathe the air,
Are God ourselves and touch God everywhere.
A worked quotation [2] of John Masefield (1878-1967)
[edit] Fæcce
From the Havamal:
93. Never a whit should one blame another
whom love hath brought into bonds:
oft a witching form will fetch the wise
which holds not the heart of fools.[1]
-
- The sacred heart of this sacred fool is unheld, unstruck.

[edit] Blue-tongued Lizard Dreaming
Blue-tongued skink spirit graced my path today during my cross-country run. It was taking shelter from the Sun God (Fire) sheltered by the river under a bridge. The Earth bridge to the Dreaming of the Water & Sky by which its tongue is stained is a principal teaching of the blue-tongued lizard.
