[edit] Userbox image

Hey, I actually wasn't really trying to revert the image so much as I was trying to figure out a couple things about the image uploading process. I'm pretty new to userboxes, so I was kind of confused about the different image formats and compressions. That's why I kept uploading new versions of the images. I'd be happy to fix (or let you or someone else fix) the compression issue. However, I do like the original smiley better. I feel like the one in the second version is harder to see and is less recognizable/iconic as a "classic" smiley (so to speak). Suggestions? Pitr 19:36, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] My RFA Withdrawal :(

Hello b3virq3b, it is my apologies to bring you that I've withdrawn my RFA. Due to the lack of experience, I would go under admin coaching first before trying again later. I would thank you for your vote in this RFA whether you voted support, oppose or neutral for me. I appreciate your comments (if you do have) you made and I hope to see you here in future. --Terence Ong 15:19, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Non-free use disputed for Image:Msgpluslogo.png

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Msgpluslogo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:21, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Msgpluslogo.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:Msgpluslogo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 08:58, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
