The B'nai B'rith Anti-Defamation Commission is the human rights arm of B'nai B'rith Australia/New Zealand. It is dedicated to eliminating the defamation of jewish people,combating racism, intolerance, and prejudice. It seeks to secure justice and fair treatment for all citizens alike.
The ADC aims to control the harm caused by people and organisations that engage in or encourage discriminatory behaviour in our society. Equally important, the ADC works to promote thoose democratic and humane values that serve to prevent such harm.
The ADC's efforts at harm prevention and control involve 4 major kinds of activity which include gathering relevant information, supporting victims of antisemitism and discrimination, promoting positive community relations and raising community awareness.
