[edit] Summary
The curriculum of the Flight Performance School also included work in evaluating the performance of this B-25 Mitchell medium bomber, the same type which became famous after Gen. Jimmy Doolittles daring raid on Tokyo in 1942. Unlike Doolittles raiders, however, the schools B-25 was a solid nose model, carried no guns and had its turrets removed.
