B1000 previously called University Radio Brunel (URB) is a university radio station belonging to Brunel University.
It was one of the first student radio stations to go on the air back in the 1970s.[citation needed] Like many student stations, broadcasting ceased due to lack of funding.[citation needed] In 2006 it was relaunched as an internet radio station, broadcasting both on and off campus.
A B1000 show, "Tall Short and Cheesy" was first broadcast on March 27th 2007 and operates a podcast
