Lambsy Divey was a B-24J S/N 44-40170 Crew Names from top left: Cotnoir (P), Liebfeld (CP), Baker (N), Mercado (B), bottom left: Carr (E), Perhach (RO), Blaylock (G), Bouchard (G), Counts (G). This crew flew the plane across the Atlantic and flew her first several missions. Other crews flew her from then on. The Lambsy Divey was hit by flak and exploded on 9/12/1944 with loss of all the Robert Sparrow crew except gunner Henry Morris who was blown free and able to open his chute. |
