A Büchner Bong is a smoking device used primarily for the consumption of tobacco and cannabis. It is composed of several pieces of common laboratory equipment, including a Büchner flask, Thistle tube, rubber stopper, and a length of rubber tubing. As a simple form of water bong, it is know for being effective and easy to make at home, with little advanced knowledge required.

[edit] Construction
A Buchner Flask is filled partially with water and stoppered. The stopper used must have a hole in the center to allow for the thistle tube to fit through. A thistle tube is inserted such that the bottom of it is submerged in the water. The top of the thistle tube is to be used as the bowl of the bong. A filter is sometimes inserted into the top of the tube as well. A length of hose (usually a section of bunsen burner line) is attached to the vacuum on the flask to be used as a mouthpiece for inhalation of smoke.
