Azure Window
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Azure Window (Maltese: Tieqa Zerqa) is perhaps the Maltese archipelago's most spectacular natural landmark. It features a table-like rock over the sea, is one of the most photographed vistas of the Maltese Islands, and its particularly spectacular during winter when waves crash high inside the arch. The Inland Sea, Gozo, and Dwejra Bay, were created millions of years ago when two limestone caves collapsed.
Dwejra is a tourist village that belongs to the town of St. Lawrence, Gozo, Malta.
