I hope this welcome offsets the rather brusque warning about inappropriate pages below! If your page is deleted, you might like to have a look at this page which may suggest why. One of the most frequent reasons for deletion is that a subject fails to meet these criteria for notability. Alternatively, a notable subject may just not be properly verified with in-line citations. There are some really helpful suggestions about drafting, improving and perfecting articles at the blue links shown. If you need help with getting an article drafted, and want to stop it being deleted, click on the bit after my signature that says (talk) Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 08:44, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

Hi, the recent edit you made to Wikipedia:Subpages has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. A tag has been placed on Important Message about Mienh Language, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Important Message about Mienh Language and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. --Orlady (talk) 06:15, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Redirect to Mien American, Text remains in history, could be integrated.

Hi there, I have redirected this page to Mien American because this article already exists and is better formatted. Also, the title better reflects the subject of both articles, ie Mien people who have emigrated to the USA. The text of the original Mien article is in the history here and if any of it is useful, could be integrated into the Mien American article. Kim Dent-Brown (Talk) 08:37, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mienh language

Hi, I just noticed you are new to Wikipedia. Welcome! Thank you for adding an entry on the Mienh language, though it needs work. How is the mienh language different from the Iu Mien language? I'd be interested in knowing more about Mien culture, and maybe you can contribute to the Mien page as well. Where are you living now? And may I ask how old you are?
