[edit] Concept
The new Concept section is interesting, though I'm not sure where the author got the idea that Forever had recieved Merlin's message from The Final Experiment; the album's narrative segments were meant to be directed at the listener.
My own theory of the connections between the albums is as follows: The Futureman is the same man who would later become The New Migrator; he might have been involved with the Final Experiment, though I doubt that is the case. After the apparent failure of the Time Telepathy program, and with most or all of the other humans dead, he goes into the Dream Sequencer. Eventually, he makes contact with Forever, who recognizes him from the Electric Castle. Forever, travelling mentally to Mars, finds the abandoned Dream Sequencer and uses it to run the Human Equation program.

- We´re digging our grave here in this section: wikipedia articles must not contain original research, which includes the editor´s feelings :-). We should find reliable sources to back-up what we are saying in this section, perhaps citing Arjen himself, or else we will be doing original research. If it isn´t researched elsewhere we should not try to make connections from one album to the other, unless it´s a clear connection or if Arjen or another reliable source made the connection themselves. It´s a thin thread to try to avoid original research. By the way all Ayreon albums are superb! I have a special liking for the Dream Sequencer, because it´s so different from everything else that it shines on it´s own!!! Regards 17:23, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- I´m not saying that I did not liked the Concept section: I liked it. It made me think because I do not own all Ayreon albums (yet). But I think that, as the section stands now, it doesn´t belong to wikipedia. 17:24, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- Very true, re: original research and citing Arjen. I'm sure if one scours his messageboard, they'll find something about this. Also; sign your things ;) Kouban 14:08, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- Man, I never forgot to sign my things! Something went wrong on the edit, because I alwasy put four tildes "~" after them. Loudenvier 14:33, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
- You can also see that only the UTC date and time was recorded. Perhaps a bug on media wiki? I will submit it to the respective developers. Regards Loudenvier 14:35, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

in fact... ayreon is the band that created "intergalactic metal"...so...it's not heavy metal
FYI, and SPOILER ALERT, according to 01011001, the Forever entities initiated humanity and gave them all sorts of knowledge, including how to potentially save themselves via Time Telepathy. So Forever was already aware of Earth long before the visions of Ayreon and Merlin. ... Of course, 01011001 doesn't come out until the end of January, so... I have no idea how I know this ;) The Human Equation Program using the Dream Sequencer was a final stab attempt to understand humanity even after its destruction, while projects such as the Electric Castle were aimed at understanding emotion prior to 2084/85. Also, there's no way that Futureman (who I believe does become the New Migrator) was involved in the Time Telepathy experiment, as 01011001 seems to indicate it was a great achievement of earthbound scientists, not Martian colonists. There really couldn't have been that many Martian colonists around near the start of the war anyway.

- This information should be kept out of the article until the the album is actually released. Kouban (talk) 01:35, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cast for the new album
I think the list of the new album's singers should be moved to the article for the album itself; here, it's just taking up space. Kouban 02:37, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed. Offski 18:14, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] References?
There are no references for this article, or any of the articles for the individual albums. It might be a good idea to get some. :-) --Managerpants (talk) 18:08, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
