Ayman El Aatar (Arabic:أيمن الأعتر) (born June 3, 1982) is a Libyan singer. Born in Janzour. El Aatar was the winner of Super Star 2, the pan-Arab version of Pop Idol in 2004. Aatar says that his musical inspiration comes from the likes of Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston along with other Arabian artists.
Ayman has four brothers (Ali, Saleh, Omar, and Mabrouk) and seven sisters (Leyla, Souaad, Khairia, Haneida, Soumaya and Amal). Before entering the Superstar competition, Ayman was a dentistry student in Al Fateh University in Libya.
