The Cisco AXL API provides a mechanism for inserting, retrieving, updating, and removing data from a Cisco CallManager database. It allows:
- Access to Cisco CallManager data using XML
- Uses requests that are a combination of HTTP and SOAP
- Is a provisioning and configuration API
