The article American Cathoic History Research Center and University Archives has some problems: it is apparently composed of various parts of the website, which is a violation of copyright, and is furthermore not encyclopedic, but rather public relations--encyclopedia articles do not contain contact information and directions for travel, nor do they contain direction for use of the archival material. Please see WP:BFAQ for some advice--although its aimed at businesses, it's very relevant.

Instead of just listing the article for deletion, I'm giving yo a chance to write a real article because I know the center is important. DGG (talk) 01:38, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your note--I actually took the posting from the Archives wiki I wrote a month or so ago. In fact, I had planned on editing it later, so what I should have done is waited to post it. The text was my own--I work at the Center and am a historian new to wikipedia. I will continue to work on it and use the reference you sent me. Any advice you can offer is great, in fact, I have also posted a piece on the American Catholic History Classroom and your comments on that are welcome too. I have been working on improving that entry and will continue to. Many thanks!

OK, I just read the material in the link you sent. Since I am affilated with the organization I was writing about, and this is frowned upon, I will delete the entries. Thanks and sorry for violating protocol.
