Avimer proteins
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Avimer Proteins are multimeric binding proteins or peptides engineered using in vitro exon shuffling and phage display. Multiple binding domains are linked, resulting in greater affinity and specificity compared to single epitope immunoglobin domains.[1] These properties make avimer proteins extremely useful as potential tools and therapeutics.
