Founded in 2001 by Ronnie C. Walker, AvidCast's original identity was Myrtle Beach Networks, Inc. Myrtle Beach Networks underwent companywide redevelopment and on July 1, 2001 AvidCast emerged as a single source for Internet, business, and corporate identity solutions. Since its 2001 unveiling, AvidCast has created and hosted a multitude of websites. AvidCast specializes in e-commerce solutions as well as search engine optimization.

AvidCast Online (a division of AvidCast Inc.) was founded on April 15, 2005. AvidCast Online is yet another facet in this diverse corporation that supports clients worldwide. AvidCast Online provides web hosting services, spam free web based email, web traffic marketing, Data Secured SSL Certificates as well as bulk domains, domain appraisals, and hosting transfers.

Together, AvidCast and AvidCast Online provide Internet products and services that members subscribe to annually.

2001: AvidCast created and launched a website for one of the largest real estate education companies in the Southeastern United States, Fortune Academy.

2002: AvidCast created their first international client account for the petroleum company, Ipac Inc.

April 2005: AvidCast Inc. introduced AvidCast Online.

October 2005: AvidCast Inc. moved their corporate offices to a complex located in central Myrtle Beach

September 2007: AvidCast Inc. introduces AvidIDX and AvidPerson services

In late 2006 AvidCast Inc. received The Best of Myrtle Beach Excellence award for its superior services as a privately held, locally operated business.
