[edit] Triumvirate
[edit] Background
The term triumvirate is commonly used to describe a political regime dominated by three powerful men. The arrangement can be formal or informal, and though the three are usually equal on paper, in reality this is rarely the case.
In this case, the term is used to describe an alliance and set of tactics used to produce favoring results for three players in the popular drinking game called Asshole, or otherwise known as President. The goal of the triumvirate is to use underhanded tactics to win and remain in the top cabinet positions. In some rare cases, the "Triumvirate" can be a permanent alliance used across multiple games and scenarios such as the game of Risk. Just as the original term applies, the Triumvirate typically should only be employed by three people.
The author has found that women are less capable of forming powerful drinking game triumvirates due to lack of trust.

Brian Gilmore made a claim of being a fourth member and most people agree. David Snyder made a claim to be a member and it has been denied. Rules were made to attempt to humiliate David Snyder. These actions were seen as jealous acts of aggresion because at the time, David Snyder was of legal age to drink alcohol while the triumvirate members were not. The members were jealous that Mr. Snyder was able to frequent bars in State College, Pa, the borough that surrounds Penn State.
