What are the developments that may lead to the school shutting down? My understanding is that construction will begin soon on a new, gigantic campus near Naples, and the news articles I've read don't indicate any problems with that project.

I agree with DNicholls, there is confusion in the article. Not only are AMC and AMU different, they are at bitter odds. Moreover, according to this article, AM Michigan is basically closed: http://www.naplesnews.com/news/2007/aug/20/beginning_weve_been_duped/ Another article mentions that the law school won't move until 2009, provided the ABA gives an "acquiesce" (permission to move.
